During COVID-19

During COVID 19 we have changed the way we work, many nurse appointment requests will be dealt with initially by phone and if needs be referred to a doctor. The doctor may ask for a photograph to be sent to us, possibly by email, OR request you join them in a video link so they can see you OR possibly bring you in if it is felt safe for both you and them to do that. The call may come from a withheld number and please note the reception team cannot give you a precise time for the call so please be patient. See the section appointment page of our website to find out more about video consultations.

Nursing Team Appointments

Our Practice nurses offer a range of services to our patients including long term condition reviews, cervical smears, immunisations, wound care, ECGs, phlebotomy etc

Minor Illness Nurse

The minor illness nurse will consult with patients who feel they need to be seen on the same day. They are qualified to treat minor conditions, such as chest infections, tonsillitis, sore ears, allergic reactions etc. Appointments will be telephone in the first instance and you will be brought up to the surgery if the problem cannot be dealt with over the phone or by video call.
